I am an artist and leader focused on innovative problem-solving and enhancing the potential of creative teams.
I have worked as an artist and creative professional for over 20 years. Though my degree is in drawing and dry media, I began a mural painting business shortly after graduation. I maintained that business for 12 years, painting murals, scenic finishes, and illustrations. In 2011, I started working as a sub-contractor for Weber Group, a design/build firm specializing in themed and location-based entertainment, and was brought on full-time in 2013. Having worked as a mural artist and, later, in themed entertainment design and fabrication, I am continually excited by the prospect of large-scale artworks and the building of immersive environments. I have always been drawn to narrative works and I believe in grounding my art and design to a strong foundation of story. I excel at finding the core of an idea and determining the most effective and innovative way of representing that idea in a physical space. My career has allowed me to gain experience in various art-making processes and materials, from traditional painting, sketching, and sculpting to digital art-making tools such as Corel Painter, Procreate, and ZBrush. I have also had the opportunity to work with and lead some of the industry’s most skilled artists, designers, and craftspeople to create top-tier attractions for various established clients and brands.
This portfolio contains a range of work spanning my career. You will find examples of what I am working on currently, murals and illustrations from my time as a self-employed artist, scenic paint and sculpts as a shop artist, and concept art that I prepared during my time at Weber Group. Also included are pages detailing my role in notable projects with Weber Group.
