Kuvera Partners brought on Weber Group to provide design development on an existing design package from another firm and to build out the thematic overlay for the interior spaces (not including the interiors of the aquarium tanks or any shotcrete work). As Art Director and then Creative Director, I met regularly with the client and design firm to understand their vision. I translated key points (through multiple departments) of the client’s needs into the actual build that were not captured in the original design package. Weber Group fabricated fiberglass sculptures, facades, signage, mirrored rooms with uniquely crafted mirrored objects, painted murals, and scenic finishes. This project continued throughout the height of the pandemic. Along with the Project Manager, I was able to keep the project on track creatively through multiple obstacles. Kuvera has since contracted Weber for several new projects, and I continue to meet with them weekly to discuss their creative needs.
