Shortly after college, even though my degree was in dry media and I had never been trained as a painter, I began a mural painting business, Stivers Art. During this time, I developed my ability to distill a client’s vision into the best visual representation of their idea. I worked in various styles and covered a wide range of subject matter to best match their aesthetic. I also learned how to work quickly and, more importantly, to never lose sight of the big picture while working on the details.
